Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrive in Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Transfer to your lodge for an overnight stay and rest after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the chance to explore Arusha or enjoy a relaxing evening at the lodge.
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Depart from Arusha in the morning and head to Tarangire National Park. Known for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, Tarangire offers excellent game viewing opportunities. Enjoy a game drive throughout the day and a picnic lunch within the park. In the late afternoon, transfer to your lodge or camp for the night.
Day 3: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Famous for its tree-climbing lions and diverse birdlife, this park provides unique wildlife experiences. Spend the day exploring the park with game drives and enjoy a picnic lunch by the lake. In the evening, transfer to your lodge near the park for a relaxing overnight stay.
Day 4: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park
Begin your journey to the Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s most renowned wildlife destination. Drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and enter the Serengeti, where the vast plains offer exceptional game viewing. Enjoy an afternoon game drive and settle into your lodge or camp for the night.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park
Spend a full day in the Serengeti, exploring its diverse ecosystems and observing its abundant wildlife. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, and return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater

Day 8: Ngorongoro to Arusha and Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Arusha. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for some last-minute shopping or sightseeing in Arusha. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
